Sandra Kay Klump, 78, of Festus died Dec. 2, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Klump retired from AT&T and then worked at Mercy Hospital Jefferson as an operator. She loved spending time with her cats and gardening. She will be remembered for her generous gift-giving. Born Sept. 9, 1946, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late William "Billy" and Dorothy (Williams) Barnes.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Lindell Klump of Festus; her niece and caregiver: Caleigh; a great-niece: Karleigh; two siblings: Joan Berry of Festus and Coleman (Pat) Berry of De Soto; numerous other nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister: Donna (the late Wally) Spradling.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Herculaneum Cemetery at a later date.
