Rosemary Shuttleworth, 86, of Hazelwood died April 29, 2026, at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis County. Mrs. Shuttleworth was a retired bookkeeper, an avid flower gardener and a devout Christian. She attended Salem Baptist Church and Parker Road Baptist Church in Florissant. Born March 19, 1940, in Warren, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Ella M. (Griffith) and Roscoe Wayne Anders.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years: Thomas Michael “Mike” Shuttleworth; a daughter: Susan Kay (Mark) Thibodeaux of Festus; a son: Michael (Jill) Shuttleworth of St. Charles; five grandchildren: Kayla (Spencer) Boyd, Joshua (Maegan) Thibodeaux, Hannah (Andrew) Lancaster, Nicholas Shuttleworth and Grace Shuttleworth; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Wayne Roscoe (Maria) Anders of Blytheville, Ark., and Bruce Alan (Leslie) Anders of Marion, Ind.; and a sister: Pamela Schwieterman of Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Cynthia Plank; and an infant brother: Charles Larry Anders.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, at Selma American Baptist Church, 1251 Dooling Hollow Road, in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
