Ronald Miller, 77, of Ste. Genevieve died May 18, 2025. Mr. Miller was known as a lively spirited person and will be remembered for his kindness, humor and outgoing personality. He was an avid outdoorsman and nature enthusiast who loved sharing his knowledge and skills through being a fishing and hunting guide and writing informational columns for newspapers. He also loved music, from studying music theory in college to performing solo and in various musical groups. Born June 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Leola Maupin, Mabel (Maupin) Miller and Emory Miller.
He is survived by his wife: Linda L. Miller; two sons: Joseph (Sherrie) Burr and Owen Miller; a daughter: Alyssa (Adrian) Krist; a sister: Marchetta Maupin; two granddaughters: Macey Burr and Reagan Miller; two grandsons: Evan Burr and Linden Krist; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws
Memorials may be made to an outdoor conservation charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
