Ronald Lee Fletcher Sr., 84, of Arnold died Sept. 29, 2024, at Hillcrest Nursing Home in De Soto. Mr. Fletcher worked as a truck driver for Safety Kleen. Born April 1, 1940, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Gladys H. (Foley) and Albert A. Fletcher.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Susan Fletcher.
He is survived by two children: Sherri (Jeff) Steinmeyer of Festus and Ronald Jr. (Tamara) Fletcher of Festus; four grandchildren: Chris (Tara) Steinmeyer of Pevely, Corey (Demi) Steinmeyer of Festus, Angel (Robert) Dunn of Festus and Erica (Cody) Peters of Festus; and five great-grandchildren: Benjamin, Casey and Adelynn Steinmeyer and Dominic and Jackson Dunn.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice Care. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
