Ronald D. Norris, 74, of Cedar Hill died May 22, 2025, at his home. Mr. Norris was a member of Cedar Hill Elks Lodge 2678. He enjoyed working in his garden, cutting grass, camping and spending time with family, friends and his animals. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor and ability to fix things. Born March 4, 1951, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joseph and Doris (Mathena) Norris.
He is survived by his wife: Pat (McCarthy) Norris; two stepchildren: Kim Andert and Becky Andert; a brother: Carl (Janice) Norris; a sister: Terry Norris; and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by three sisters: Vivian (Norris) Lea, JoAnn (Dal) Bishop and Robin Norris; two brothers: Gary Norris and Roger Norris; and many other family members.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from noon until a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will immediately follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
