Robert Clark “Tote” Ferguson, 65, of Festus died May 13, 2026, at his home. Mr. Ferguson was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal City and worked for 35 years as an assembler at Jeffco Subcontracting in Arnold. He loved participating in the Special Olympics, listening to “oldies” music from the 1950s and 60s and watching old-time family television comedy shows, especially the Three Stooges. Born June 28, 1960, in Festus, he was the son of Betty L. (Covington) and the late Paul Robert Ferguson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother: Bruce (Lynda) Ferguson of De Soto; a nephew: Robert Joseph (Tami) Ferguson; a niece: Audra Kathleen (Justin) Carrow; a great-niece: Aurora Carrow; and a special uncle: Bill (Casey) Covington of Oakville.
Services will be private. Interment will take place in the Presbyterian-Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
