Robert "Bobby" Sims, 46, of Arnold died July 2, 2024. Mr. Sims enjoyed camping, fishing, dancing in the kitchen with his wife, Angie, making salsa, spending time with his best friend and wife, and, most of all, helping those in need. He and his wife attended high school together when they used to cruise Lindbergh. He waited 30 years for her until they reconnected in marriage. Born March 5, 1978, he was the son of Sheila (Bob) Smith and the late Robert Sims.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of two years: Angie (Jansen) Sims; two sons: Gavin and Sawyer Sims; two siblings: Deborah (Daniel) Scharlott and Craig (Shannon) Smith; a niece: Adrian; his parents-in-law: Daniel and Patricia Jansen; two siblings-in-law: Tommy Jansen and Julie (Bryon) Madonna; and six nieces and nephews: Haley, Landen, James, Tom, Aubrey and Jake; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother: Reba Maxine Sims.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
