Raymond Lester Brinkley III, 67, of Richwoods died April 4, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Brinkley was a master falconer who had also worked in construction. Born June 27, 1957, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ilene (Schaper) and Raymond Brinkley II.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Regina (Wetzel) Brinkley
He is survived by two brothers: Ronald Brinkley of Victoria and Charles Brinkley of De Soto; a sister: Dawn (Michael) Quinton of Bonne Terre; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Brinkley of Festus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three siblings: Elmer Brinkley, Danny Brinkley and Debra Compion.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, May 18, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
