Raymond L. Roubidoux, 76, of De Soto died May 1, 2025. Mr. Roubidoux served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. After his military service, he worked at the De Soto Shoe Co. and then as an iron worker for Majestic Iron. He was a member of the VFW Post 1831 in De Soto, Amvets Post 48 in De Soto and the American Legion 253 in Festus. Born June 3, 1948, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Raymond F. Roubidoux and Mildred (Pennell) Roubidoux.
He is survived by a son: Timothy Joe Roubidoux of Elba, Ala.; a daughter: Sandra Jo Roubidoux of Wimauma, Fla.; a sister: Phyllis A. (James) Oldham of Bonne Terre; a granddaughter: Tesla Nicole Roubidoux of Elba, Ala.; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandson: Jakan Rylee Kyle.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a memorial service at noon Monday, May 12, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main, in De Soto. Burial will follow in Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to Hillcrest Care Center, 1108 Clarke Drive, De Soto, 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
