An Imperial woman was attacked during an apparent attempted robbery in the parking lot of the Gravois Bluffs shopping center off Gravois Bluff Road in Fenton, St. Louis County Police reported.
Officers were called at about 2 p.m. May 9 to the shopping center after the alleged attack. The woman had minor injuries, the report said.
The woman told the officers she was sitting in her vehicle when a man opened the driver’s side door and attempted to pull her out. She said she screamed and the man ran away, according to the report.
The woman told police she saw the man get into a dark-colored car, which he drove away. She said the man had thin gray hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, the report said.
As of May 11, no suspects had been identified, and the St. Louis County Police were investigating the incident. Anyone with information about the attempted robbery is asked to call the Fenton precinct at 636-349-8120.
