Crossland, Raymond

Raymond Crossland Sr., 75, of Perryville died Feb. 1, 2026, at his home. Mr. Crossland retired after working 25 years on the assembly line and as an inspector for Chrysler Car Plant 1 in Fenton. He enjoyed going fishing and watching television. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them. Born May 17, 1950, in Moro, Ark., he was the son of the late Charley Carly and Freda Nadine (Brewer) Crossland.

He is survived by his wife: Regina Mitchem Crossland of Perryville, whom he married on Oct. 23, 1985, in Ste. Genevieve; a daughter: Jennifer (Richard) Nelson of Festus; a son: Raymond (fiancee Stacy) Crossland of Festus; a step-son: Michael Wachter Jr. of Imperial; a brother: Charles Crossland of Ste. Genevieve; a sister: Blanche McGee of Festus; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: James "JC" Crossland and Gerald Crossland; and three sisters: Katherine Willis, Geraldine Crossland and Shirley Crossland.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
