Randall G. “Randy” Bopp, 81, of Kirkwood died May 25, 2024, in St. Louis. Mr. Bopp owned and operated Randy Bopp Motors as an auto dealer. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Maplewood and the Kirkwood Car Club. He enjoyed boating, fishing, watching NASCAR, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and St. Louis Blues hockey. Born Feb. 8, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Vernon and Ethel (Stemmermann) Bopp.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Pamela Bopp.
He is survived by three sons: Alan (Wendy) Bopp of Fenton, Patrick Bopp of Tampa, Fla., and Dustin (Steven Asher) Bopp of St. Louis; a daughter: Angela (Sean) McClanahan of Ballwin; a brother: James K. Bopp of Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren: Nicholas Bopp, Tyler McClanahan, Caitlyn Sextro, Tori Barton, Anna Chickey and Jack McClanahan; and five great-grandchildren: Peyton Fink, Zelie Sextro, Riggins Barton, Teegan McClanahan and Zion Sextro.
A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Zion Cemetery, 7401 St. Charles Rock Road, in St. Louis, officiated by Pastor Kyle Castens. A celebration of life is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Kirkwood Community Center – east gym, 111 S Geyer Rd., in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
