Patricia Anette Blick, 87, of Ironton died Jan. 10, 2025, at The Baptist Home. Mrs. Blick was a stay-at-home mom for most of her life. She loved being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She and her husband, Robert, loved being present for their daughter’s activities and events, and this continued with their grandson. They were members of the Windsor Baptist Church and members of the JOY group. When she was younger, she liked to go to yard sales and shop with her friends. When she slowed down later in life, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Born Feb. 21, 1937, in Lodi, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lora (Young) Matthews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years: Robert Smith Blick, whom she married on Dec. 5, 1959.
She is survived by a daughter: Dayna (James Cowins) Blick of St. Louis; a grandson: Robert (Kaila) Miller of Arnold; a great-grandson: Jaxon Miller; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by all her siblings: Wilma Smith, Freda Street, Marie, Nancy Honnoll, Shirley Roberts and Benjamin Matthews.
Services were held Jan. 16 at The Baptist Home Chapel in Ironton, officiated by Pastor Ron Mackey. Memorials may be made to The Baptist Home. Arrangements were under the direction of Bryson Funeral Home in Pilot Knob.
