Norma Lee (AuBuchon) Miller, 84, of Hillsboro died Dec. 9, 2025. Mrs. Miller Norma worked for many years as a teacher, where she was known for her gentle spirit, patience and genuine compassion. She loved quilting and cross-stitching. She also enjoyed traveling, playing cards, bowling and golfing, activities she shared with friends and family. Showcasing her creativity and generosity, one of her most heartfelt gifts was crafting baptismal gowns. She will be remembered for her kindness, dedication to prayer, quiet strength and love. Born Oct. 23, 1941, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of Andrew and Rose AuBuchon.
She is survived by her husband: Frank Miller; two children: Rusty (Angelica) Miller and Amy Miller; two grandchildren: Ethan Miller and Ayden Miller; a sister: Therese AuBuchon; a niece: Heidi (Lee) Schell, and their children, Carter and Korbin.
Visitation is scheduled from 4–7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel, 103 S. Fourth St., in Hillsboro. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Good Shepherd Church, 703 Third St., in Hillsboro. Burial will immediately follow in Good Shepherd Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary, Robert Brown Chapel.
