3:30 p.m. UPDATE: Herculaneum Police have announced that the children have been located. 


ORIGINAL STORY: The Herculaneum Police Department has issued an endangered person advisory for a brother and sister who were allegedly taken by a non-custodial parent.

Romeo Vincent Laberta, 5, and Scarlett Rose Laberta, 4, were last seen with Jamie Heck, 41, at about 7 p.m. Monday, March 9, in the 500 block of Reservoir Drive. Heck allegedly drove away with the children in a blue 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, which was last seen traveling south on Hwy. 67 toward Farmington, according to the report.

Herculaneum Police reported investigators believe Heck and the children are in the St. Francois County area.

Heck is described as being 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 111 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

Romeo is 3 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 50 pounds and has blond hair, and Scarlett is 3 feet tall, weighs 40 pounds and has blond hair, the report said.

Anyone with information about Heck or the children is asked to call 911 or the Herculaneum Police at 636-479-4791.
