Zamudio, Nicole

Nicole Marie Zamudio, 43, of St. Louis died April 16, 2026. Ms. Zamudio, known as “Nikki,” took pride in being a college graduate who specialized in the field of medical billing. She had a big heart that made her charitable and generous. She was known as a free spirit who enjoyed traveling, bringing her passion for bright colors, sparkles and fresh, clean Nike shoes wherever she went. She will be remembered as a proud mother, humorous friend and sagacious soul. Born Jan. 3, 1983, in Austin, Texas, she was the daughter of Debra Lauth Broeker of Branson and John (Elizabeth) Zamudio of Creve Coeur.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two children: Alyssa Goodson of Crystal City and Nicolas Zamudio of Warrenton; grandparents: Margie Hess of Lebanon and Lino and Elaine Zamudio of Festus; four brothers: Josiah Zamudio of Crystal City, Joseph (Jessica) Logue of Maryland, John Zamudio Jr. of Creve Coeur and Travis Broeker of Springfield; and two grandchildren: Halo Johnson and Harmoni Johnson.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Our Lady Catholic Church, 1550 St. Mary’s Lane, in Festus, officiated by Father Steve Lian. Memorials may be made to COMTREA Health Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
