Nicholas John Armbruster, 80, of Pevely died June 19, 2026. Mr. Armbruster loved watching old Western movies, listening to country music and playing cards with his family. Born Aug. 20, 1945, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Warren and Velma (Derickson) Armbruster.
He is survived by three children: John (Leslie) Armbruster, Judy (Cliff) Marler and Art (Gidget) Armbruster; seven grandchildren: Zachary (Samantha), Jonah, Eli, Sierra (Micah) Goodwin, Kaleb, Falon and Keith; five great-grandchildren: Leonel, Luciano, Maci, Ranger, and Mariah; and nine siblings: Steve, Wayne, Dennis, Danny, Dale, Nancy, Elaine, Sandy and Kim.
He was preceded in death by four siblings: Bruce, Allen, Rick and Patricia; and his close friend: Mildred.
Funeral services were held June 24 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel in St. Louis County. Interment followed in Mount Olive Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
