Hardesty, Nathan

Nathan Allen Hardesty, 44, of St. Louis died Oct. 18, 2025, in St. Louis. Mr. Hardesty was a gifted and passionate musician, songwriter and singer. He was known for his soulful voice, intelligence and voracious appetite for learning. He was a certified master gardener and a U.S. Army Cavalry Scout. He was a Christian and spent many hours in prayer and Bible study. He will be remembered for his talent, creativity, charisma and for not letting life’s obstacles define him. Born June 25, 1981, in Jefferson City, he was the son of Teresa Darlynn (Smith) Clark of Wildwood and Stephan Wayne Hardesty of Smyrna, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather: Eric Clark; his stepmother: Susie Hardesty; a sister: Lana Siebert; a brother: Marcus Clark; five nieces and nephews: Linnea Gallup, Quinn O’Hara, Christian Siebert, Basil Siebert and Chance Siebert; a great-niece: Lyla Cheng; and many other family members and friends.

Visitation for the family will be at 3 p.m. and for the public from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A graveside service with military honors will be at noon on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Smith Chapel Cemetery in Gainesville, officiated by Kevin Smith. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
