Nancy Catherine (McGuire) Hale, 81, of De Soto died March 18, 2024, in Farmington. Mrs. Hale enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and gardening. Born Aug. 29, 1942, in Potosi, she was the daughter of the late Geraldine Young and Harold McGuire.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Tom Hale.
She is survived by a daughter: Gail (David) Snyder of Farmington; a brother: Tom McGuire of De Soto; five sisters: Margaret Goff of De Soto, Carrie (Sonny) Bourbon of De Soto, Glenda Pratte of De Soto, Mary (Steven) Snyder of De Soto and Becky (Bob) Cowee of Washington; five grandchildren Kyle (Danielle) Grindstaff, Collin Grindstaff, Amber (David) Johnston, Amanda York and Rusty (Emily) King; and six great-grandchildren: Oviana, Logan, Riley, Ben, Amy and Jetta.
She was preceded in death by a son: Russell Scott King; a sister: Martha Sue Frazer; and a brother: Jim McGuire.
Services were March 18 in Fredericktown, officiated by Pastor Carl Hutchinson. Burial followed in Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home in Fredericktown.
