Mona Mae (Starkey) Sliger, 93, of Arnold died Aug. 21, 2026. Mrs. Sliger was known for her unwavering faith, gentle spirit, grace and the love she shared with her family. She was born Feb. 24, 1933.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Billy Ray “Bill” Sliger.
She is survived by three daughters: Judy (Don) Morehead, Connie (Scott) Goodrich and Brenda (Dean) Morton; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Steve Sliger; a grandson: Timothy Sliger; and a great-grandson: Phillip Steven Jett.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Parkton Assembly of God Church, 1670 Hwy. M, in Barnhart. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
