Griffon, Mildred

Mildred "Babe" Griffon, 86, of Jefferson County died Oct. 2, 2025. Mrs. Griffon was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. She had a talent for making beautiful flower arrangements. She also loved decorating and had an eye for making things feel warm and inviting. Born May 13, 1939, in Mill Spring, she was the daughter of the late Dallas and Lela (Grigery) Faulkner.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harry Griffon.

She is survived by four children: John (Debbie) Lansford, Ronica Carroll, Launa (Craig) Sellers and Michelle (Paul Allen) Mick; three sisters: Wilma (Henry) Geisendorfer, Mary Faulkner and Janet Truelove-Howe; a brother: Roger (Judy) Faulkner; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.

She also was preceded in death by four sons: Voris "Buck" Lansford, Dallas Lansford, Nickolas Mick and Anthony Mick; a great-grandson: TJ; and two siblings: Clayton (Maralia) Faulkner and Ruth Ann Coughlin. 

Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct.15, at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Fey Funeral Home.
