Stuthers, Michelle

Michelle N. Stuthers, 42, of Hillsboro died July 24, 2025, in Orlando, Fla. Mrs. Stuthers graduated from Mehlville High School and went to Meramec Community College. She loved spending time with her family; if it wasn’t helping the girls with their schoolwork, it was taking them to basketball and softball practices. She also loved to watch her nieces dance. She was there for her father after her mother passed away and would do whatever she could for her sister. She was known as a kind and generous person who would help those in need. She loved her dogs, Simba, Coco and Frank, her cat, Bob, and her chickens. She loved camping, crafting and fishing. One of her favorite things to do was to buy and sell things. She loved swimming and loved the white sand beaches of Panama City Beach and Destin. Born Nov. 23, 1982, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of James Mueller and the late Amy Mueller.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband: Daniel Stuthers, whom she married July 9th, 2009, in Panama City Beach, Fla.; two children: Alice Suzanne Stuthers and Evelyn Grace Stuthers; a sister: Sarah Harrison; and two nieces: Veronica Harrison and Vera Harrison.

She was preceded in death by two grandmothers: Mary Ann Kaiser and Elinora Mayor; and a grandfather: John Mayor.

A memorial visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Chapel Hill Mortuary-Robert Brown Chapel, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary-Robert Brown Chapel.
