Michael Richard Ronchetto, 67, of Potosi died Oct. 18, 2024. Mr. Ronchetto enjoyed spending time in nature, especially fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren, camping and riding his side-by-side around his lake property, as well as eating barbecue and watching horse races and auto races at the I-55 racetrack. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a man who lived for adventure and the outdoors. Born Feb. 20, 1957, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Ellen (Bruton) and Anthony Ronchetto.
He is survived by his wife: Caralynn “Lynn” (Culley) Ronchetto; three children: Crystal (Justin) Funk, Michael (Susan) Ronchetto and Matthew (Elizabeth Curtis) Ronchetto; four grandchildren: Kenzi Funk, Raelynn Ronchetto, Westin Funk and Willow Ronchetto; three siblings: Jim (Brenda) Ronchetto, Rick (Kim) Ronchetto and Denise (Jeff) Eschbach; a Godparent and aunt: Carolyn (the late Mike) Ronchetto; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Caitlyn (Matthew Uzzetta) Ronchetto; a granddaughter: Florense Mae Uzzetta; a brother: Kenny Ronchetto; a brother-in-law: Lewis R. Culley; and two parents-in-law: Lewis A. and Barbara Culley.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at the mortuary. Burial will follow in the Ronchetto Family Farm in Potosi. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
