Michael James Fiedler, 63, of Festus died Nov. 29, 2025, at his home. Mr. Fiedler was the director of maintenance at Cenveo Printing Co. in Eureka. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids, with whom he went on many adventures. He was an avid sports fan, particularly of football, and enjoyed cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs and playing or watching golf. He was known as a workaholic in the best way and as an outstanding man and mentor who made a lasting impact through years of coaching youth sports. He will be remembered for his kindness and dedication. Born Jan. 22, 1962, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joann (Baum) and Robert “Bob” Fiedler.
He is survived by a daughter: Nichole (Tyler) Self of Festus; three sons: Jordan Fiedler of Arnold, Jacob Fiedler of St. Louis and Michael (Adrienne) Fiedler of Jackson; a brother: Danny (Maria) Fiedler of Festus; a sister: Sherry Fiedler of Festus; and five grandchildren: Maxton Fiedler, Brooklyn Self, Lincoln Fiedler, Savannah Self and Madison Self.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Rick (Misty survives of Arnold) Fiedler and James (Mark survives of De Soto) Fiedler.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 17. Time and place to be determined at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
