Michael Divincenzo Jr., 80, of De Soto died Sept. 13, 2025, at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto. Mr. Divincenzo retired as a manufacturing engineer. Born April 17, 1945, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lucille (Alleman) and Michael Divincenzo Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Rachel (Amelunke) Divincenzo of De Soto; two children: Kathryn “Katie” Divincenzo of Hillsboro and Anthony “Tony” Divincenzo of Northampton, Penn.; two stepsons: Todd Cornelison of Albuquerque, N.M., and Jerry Kostedt of Cedar Hill; a stepdaughter: Nikki (Luke) Thomas of High Ridge; two grandchildren: Ashley Divincenzo and Marissa Schultz; seven step-grandchildren: Haley (Alec) Kisena, Bella Thomas, Matthew Thomas, Emma Kostedt, Averi Kostedt, Charli Kostedt and Gunther Kostedt; two great-grandchildren: Athena and Theo; and step-great-grandchild: Keola.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Carol Stinson.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1620 Boyd St., in De Soto. Inurnment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Affton. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
