Melodie Lynn (Brooks) Snellman, 52, of Dittmer died April 5, 2024. Mrs. Snellman loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars, doing her hair, finding hidden treasures in resale shops and planting flowers in her garden. She will be remembered for her unique sense of style, adventurous spirit, zest for life and her laughter. She was born Nov. 11, 1971, in St. Louis.
She is survived by her husband: Richard K. Snellman Jr.; a daughter: Crystal Snellman; four grandchildren: Lillian, Macie, Noah and Bella; two sisters: Kimberly (Bryan) Sowell and Sandie Kretschmar; a niece: Ashley (Dustin) Bagley; a nephew: Michael Kretschmar; a great-niece: Destiny; a great-nephew: Aydin; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Cedar Hill Elks Lodge, 8430 Industrial Drive. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
