Mary Louise Wright, 96, of Cape Coral, Fla., died April 11, 2024, at Gulf Coast Village Nursing Center. Mrs. Wright was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Daughters of Isabella and St. Vincent de Paul in De Soto. She loved to attend family gatherings, read, crochet, talk on the phone and sew. She enjoyed making clothes and costumes for her daughter and granddaughter, dresses for bridal parties, curtains and other household decorations. She was proud of her Italian heritage and was very outgoing. She loved meeting new friends wherever she went. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her kind nature and for always helping those in need. Born March 22, 1928, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Madeline (Danible) and Joseph Miloro Sr.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence Harold “Banjo” Wright.
She is survived by a daughter: Linda (Stephen) Novakovich of Cape Coral, Fla.; a granddaughter: Lauren Mary Novakovich of Joplin; two siblings: Edward Miloro of Rolla and Gloria (Gary) Bickel of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Dorothy Miloro of Jefferson City; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Miloro Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, April 22, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. Third St., in De Soto, officiated by Father Vincent Nyman. Burial will follow in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 326 S. 2nd St., De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
