Mary Bernice Maxson, 71, of Pevely died Nov. 8, 2025. Mrs. Maxson enjoyed caring for others and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, devotion and generous heart. Born Feb. 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith Dunn.
She is survived by her husband: Ron Paul Maxson Sr.; two sons: Ron (Jennifer) Maxson Jr. and Christopher Maxson; four grandchildren: Ashley (John) Smith, Sierra Maxson, Katie Maxson, and Kylie (Edward Warren) Wise-Warren; four great-grandchildren: Faith Maxson-Brennan, Isaiah Smith, Alexandra Woods and Brielle Smith; and a sister: Kathleen Dunn.
She was preceded in death by and four siblings: Edward Remspecker, Michael Dunn, Pat Dunn and Alma Forshee.
A private memorial will be held in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
