Mary Ann Sconce, 83, of Festus died May 13, 2025, at Scenic Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mrs. Sconce enjoyed fishing, going to the races, traveling with Dean in their RV and attending swimming classes at the YMCA. She also enjoyed spending time with her close friends, Jesse and Teresa Pehle of De Soto and Helen Peeler of Festus. Born Dec. 4, 1941, in Poplar Bluff, she was the daughter of the late Verle and John Boyle.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Glenn Sconce; and long-time companion: Ronald “Dean” Cook.
She is survived by two grandchildren: Kelsey Sconce and Ryan Sconce.
She also was preceded in death by a son: John Roger Sconce.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
