Mary Ann Marberry, 83, of Waxahachie, Texas, formerly of Festus, died Nov. 1, 2023, at Legend Oaks Healthcare and Rehabilitation Facility in Waxahachie. Mrs. Marberry was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Herculaneum/Pevely. Born Dec. 26, 1939, in Herculaneum, she was the daughter of the late Ann (Litton) and Clifford Rittenberry. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard Marberry.
She is survived by a son: Rick (Rene) Marberry of Waxahachie, Texas; two grandchildren: Jason Marberry of Festus and Michelle (Derrick) Minkley of Midlothian, Texas; three great-grandchildren: Analise Minkley, Adelyn Minkley and Angela (Cameron) Obr; and a great great-grandchild: Riley Obr.
She also was preceded in death by a sister: Barbara (the late Wayne) Medley.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 11 at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, officiated by Pastor Terry Crank. Memorials may be made to the Herculaneum Cemetery Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
