Martha L. Tanner, 84, of De Soto died Nov. 1, 2025. Ms. Tanner was a factory worker and enjoyed walking, photography, gardening and spending time with her family. Born Feb. 27, 1941, in Kennett, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Harrison) and Young Wild Tanner.
She is survived by two sons: Jay (Diane) Bolden and John Bolden, both of Richwoods; a daughter: Cindy Rose of Potosi; two brothers: Jim Tanners of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Glenn Tanner of Sedalia; two sisters: Donna Tanner of Bonne Terre and Betty (Gale) Taylor of Bonne Terre; 13 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son: Joseph Bolden Jr.; a daughter: Debbie Broombaugh; a brother: Jerry Tanner; and two sisters: Joyce Tanner and Marie Elmer.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until services at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 7, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
