Marlon “Jeff” Govero, 69, of Tiff died June 19, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Mr. Govero served in the U.S. Army and retired from the Chrysler Automobile Manufacturing Plant in Fenton. Born April 27, 1956, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of Clayton “K” Govero of Bonne Terre and the late Marlene Faye (Hooker) Dollar.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Donna (Elsey) Govero.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a son: Jesse Govero of Blackwell; four grandchildren: Madison Govero, Lucas Vuichard, Kaleb Beck and Jacob Govero; five great-grandchildren: Raegan Govero, Kruz Rodgers, Lakelynn Rodgers, Kimber Vuichard and Mateo Beck; and two brothers: William “Bill” Govero and Kenneth “Randy” Govero.
He also was preceded in death by a son: Corey Govero.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
