Fromm, Mark

Mark Fromm, 60, of Festus died Sept. 16, 2024, at his home. Mr. Fromm was known as a hardworking and humble man who loved his family and had a big heart and fun personality. He had bonded with his stepchildren long before marrying his “honner,” and years of love and support earned him the title of “PawPaw Mark.” His grandchildren loved spending time with him. He will be remembered for spoiling his family with his love, laughter and Skittles. Born Aug. 18, 1964, in St. Louis, he was the son of Patricia (Huser) and Jack Fromm.

He is survived by his wife: Martha (Penny) Fromm of Festus; a son: Cory (Tori) McClanahan of Bloomsdale; a daughter: Kadie (Josh) Lott of Festus; three grandchildren: Lawson Lott, Ledger Lott and Leddie Lott; two sisters: Cindy (Dennis) Schnable of Hillsboro and Becky (Mike) James of Hillsboro; two brothers: Jack (Pam) Fromm of Tennessee and Mike Fromm of Hillsboro.

He was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law: Tuesday Ellis and Trish Fromm; a brother-in-law: Rocky West; and a mother-in-law: Louise Kowniak.

A memorial service is scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 316 N. Adams St., in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
