Kenuam, Mackenzie

Mackenzie Ashley Kenuam, 23, of De Soto died March 1, 2025, in Festus. Ms. Kenuam was an A+ Scholarship Program student at Jefferson College, where she was on the cheer team. She planned to continue her education and attend law school to fulfill her dream of being a real estate attorney. She also worked at Iguanas Mexican Restaurant in Festus. She loved being outdoors with her family and friends, boating and riding side-by-sides and Jeeps. She also loved music and dancing. She will be remembered for her kind and giving spirit. Born June 11, 2001, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Henry and Dawn (Totra) Kenuam of De Soto.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister: Lauren Kenuam of De Soto; her grandfather: Robert Totra of St. Augustine, Fla.; and many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Arlene Totra and Hank and Maggie Kenuam.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, March 7, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at the funeral home, officiated by Brother Bob Thebeau. Burial will be in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
