Kolter Lew Stricklan, infant, died Sept. 27, 2025. Though Kolter’s time on earth was brief, he brought much love to his family. Born Sept. 27, 2025, he was the son of Nicholas Adrian Stricklan and Kirstin Lea Sparks of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents: Tammy Stricklan of Downs, Ill., Steve and Diane Stricklan of Athens, Ala., and Terry and Tony Sparks of Grubville; great-grandparents: Bennie Barrick, Steve Stricklan Sr. and Charlotte Tolan, Ed and Diana Sparks, and Terrence and Shirley Tolan; aunts and uncles: Kamryn (Cody) Tarwater, Kennedi Fischer, Kaylyn (Steven Blocker) Sparks and Natalie (Brady) Lawson; and by three cousins: Laken Fischer, Ivy Fischer and Sunny Fischer.
He was preceded in death by a great-grandparent: Bobby Barrick.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until services at noon Friday, Oct. 3, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Burial will follow in the Peaceful Ridge Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
