Talley, Kenneth

Kenneth Lee Talley, 68, of Ste. Genevieve died March 6, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Talley served for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. After retiring from the military, he became a technical educator. He was a member of the Community Improvement Association in De Soto. He enjoyed playing music in his band, Mostly Country, going hunting, fishing, camping, playing golf and, most of all, spoiling his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Born June 24, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Leo Elmer and Marlene Ruth (Gillette) Talley.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Vicki Lynn (Simpson) Talley of Ste. Genevieve, whom he married on Jan. 31, 1976, in House Springs; two children: Joshua (Sara) Talley of Park Hills and Becky Talley of Sikeston; two brothers: Donald "Donnie" Talley of Farmington and Dale (Michelle) Talley of Farmington; a sister: Linda (Tom) Butler of Farmington; five grandchildren: Houston (Devin) Graham, Kayla Graham, Abby Graham, Kian Roberts and Anabelle Roberts; two great-grandchildren: Weston and Sadie Graham; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Ronald Talley; and a sister: Anita Key.

Visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 11, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Ave., in Festus.
