Kenneth Harold Hografe, 67, of Cedar Hill died April 13, 2026, in Cedar Hill. Known to many as “Ken” or “Kenny,” Mr. Hografe was a skilled master plumber who was very particular about his work and made sure the job was done right. He loved NASCAR and found joy outdoors through hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his dedication, strong work ethic, loyalty, generosity and willingness to help others. Born May 10, 1958, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Gerolene (Eggers) and Harold Hografe.
He is survived by a son: Kurtis (Lindsay) Hografe; six grandchildren: Dalton Hografe, Kaden Hografe, Jordyn Hografe, Kohen Hografe, Adalyn Hografe and Brynn Hografe; four siblings: Bonnie (Joseph) Toomey, Shirley (John) Roth-Roffy, Mark Hografe and David (the late Karen) Hografe; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. today, April 16, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, April 17, at the mortuary. Burial will be private in St. Martin’s United Church of Christ in Dittmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
