Joseph Thomas “Joe” Carbone Jr., 68, of Cedar Hill died May 3, 2025, in St. Louis. Mr. Carbone enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family, friends and animals. He was known for his determination, humor, protective nature and his ability to fix things. Born June 5, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joseph and Beverly Carbone.
He is survived by his wife: Lori (Landgraf) Carbone; seven children: Carla, Angela, Carmela, Christina, Joshua, Joseph and Thomas (Shelby); two siblings: Thomas (Jeanne) Carbone and Mary (Jason) Johnson; his mother-in-law: Delphine Landgraf; two brothers-in-law: Bruce and Steven Landgraf; and numerous other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Arthur Landgraf.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
