Hendrickson, Joseph

Joseph Michael Hendrickson, 49, of Fenton died Nov. 22, 2025. Mr. Hendrickson served as a U.S. Marine. He enjoyed skateboarding, racing, treasure hunting and creating new concepts. He was known for his values of dedication and perseverance, his love and loyalty toward his family, wearing his heart on his sleeve and his ability to strike up a conversation with others. He will be remembered for his generous conversations, his unwavering commitment and the curious way he approached life. Born Nov. 30, 1975, in St. Louis, he was the son of John Hendrickson and Cynthia (Suehs) Buckley.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his mother-in-law: Trish Boehmer; his wife: Amanda Hendrickson; children: Larkyn, Mykah and Kadyn, and a bonus son, Lukys Hendrickson; a sister: Sarah Schlereth; five brothers-in-law: Joey Emily, Brent Turner, Jimmie Dean, Josh Bauer and Gary Uhl; three sisters-in-law: Carisa Nikolaisen, Amy Turner and Andrea Dean; four nephews: Eddie Schlereth, CJ Bauer, Michael Turner and Bradon Uhl; eight nieces: Alexis and Aniston Emily, Emily Dean, Marie Miller, Aurora Dean, Abbigale, Juliaunna and Janessa Uhl; two great-nephews: Landyn and TJ; three great-nieces: Josie, Alli and Ryleigh; and many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother: Jeremy Hendrickson; and his father-in-law: Joe Emily.

Visitation is scheduled for noon until services at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Interment will immediately follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
