JoAnn Marie Boyer, 77, of Fenton died April 5, 2024. Mrs. Boyer worked as an operator for Great West Insurance before her retirement and she was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Fenton. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. Born May 9, 1946, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Virginia Marie (Schmitt) and Nelson Joseph Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Paul Edward Boyer.
She is survived by a daughter: Christina (Ronald) Grau of Fenton; four brothers: Nelson (Bonnie) Coleman of Alabama, Dennis (Glenda) Coleman of Festus, Edward (Elizabeth) Coleman of Union and David (Mary) Coleman of Hillsboro; four sisters: Carol (Harry) Dean of Imperial, Eugenia (Richard) Barton of De Soto, Sandra (Don) Miller of Cedar Hill and Theresa Canania of St. Charles; a grandson: Dakota Grau of Fenton; three granddaughters: Amber Grau of Arnold, Savannah Grau of St. Louis and Kyanna Grau of St. Louis; two great-grandsons: Josiah Grau of Arnold and Keme Grau of Arnold; and two great-granddaughters: Spirit Grau of Arnold and Suri Grau of Old Mines.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 Main, in De Soto. Mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 24, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Drive, in Fenton. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., in Dallas, Texas, 75231. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
