
Jimmy Webster, 80, of Cedar Hill died July 6, 2025. Mr. Webster was known for his big heart, smile and eagerness to help those in need. He loved spending time with his family, especially his daughter, whom he called his best friend and partner in crime. He was a devoted member of Morse Mill Baptist Church. He enjoyed being outdoors, deer hunting, going to garage sales and spending time with his dog, Molly. He worked for 37 years at Chrysler and was passionate about classic cars, as he loved attending the Frog Follies car show. He will be remembered for his kindness, loyalty and laughter. Born July 12, 1944, in Newport, Ark., he was the son of the late Rufus “Rack” and Pearl (Jiles) Webster.
He is survived by his wife: Betty (Slagley) Webster; daughter: Toni (Tim Bridges) Webster; three grandchildren: Alexander (Chelsea) Boone, Jacob (Brittany) Boone and Nicole Winters; five great-grandchildren: Eliza, Elliot, Tristan, Viola and Matthew; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Jimmy Webster Jr.; and two sisters: Thelma Persinger and Genevia Webster.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Morse Mill Baptist Church, 6955 Hwy. B, in Dittmer. A procession will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, July 14, from Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill, to the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks for interment.
