Jimmie “Bud” Mikles, 90, of Arnold died May 27, 2024. Mr. Mikles was a welder. He served in the U.S. armed forces. He was a member and former deacon of Parkton Assembly of God. He enjoyed fixing things, fishing, attending car shows and spending time with family and friends. Born July 29, 1933, in Arkansas, he was the son of the late Edna (Wright) and Carl Mikles.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Peggy Sue (Houston) Mikles.
He is survived by two children: Deborah Mikles of House Springs and Sheila (George Van Dyke IV) Mikles of Imperial; and a sibling: Jack (the late Diane) Mikles of Sorento, Ill.
He was preceded in death by two children: Sandra and Steven Mikles.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a service at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Pet Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2112, Imperial, 63052. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
