Jerry Ray Gentry, 56, of Cedar Hill died April 22, 2026. Mr. Gentry was known as a kind and gentle soul who loved spending time with his family, sharing many stories and laughter. He will be remembered for his warm heart, caring spirit and for making others feel loved and valued. Born March 7, 1970, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Clara (Law) and Donald Gentry Sr.
He is survived by two siblings: Donald (Cinthia) Gentry Jr. and Sherry (Phillip) Zumwalt; his long-time girlfriend: Bridgett Menley; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
