Jerald Allen DeRousse, 54, of Festus died Oct. 6, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. DeRousse worked in home health care for Help at Home. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, hunting and playing Magic: The Gathering card game. Born Dec. 6, 1968, in Portland, Ore., he was the son of Alline (Randall) DeRousse of Festus and the late James DeRousse.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son: Jerrett DeRousse; a daughter: Jerrica DeRousse of Florissant; two brothers: Jimmy (Kim) DeRousse of Ste. Genevieve and Joe (Amy) DeRousse of Festus; as well as many other family members and friends.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
