Jacquelyn Elaine "Jackie" (Thurm) Godi, 83, of Fenton died March 14, 2026. Mrs. Godi was the firstborn daughter of her parents and was known for her strength, generosity and her many lasting friendships. She worked most of her career as a CNC lathe technician at Von Weiss Gear Motor Co., from which she retired. There, she was recognized for her skill, dedication and strong work ethic. She was also known for her generous heart and her love for children, especially those who needed kindness and encouragement. She enjoyed helping others, lending a hand or offering support to those around her. She was spontaneous and had a talent for putting a smile on others' faces. She loved to travel and saw much of the world with her senior group. A St. Louis girl, she loved Cardinals baseball, the Kansas City Chiefs and the many shows, events and activities that St. Louis has to offer. For the last two years she lived at Solstice Senior Living in Fenton where she made fast friends and enjoyed numerous activities, her favorite being bingo. She will be remembered for her warmth, compassion, lively spirit and the connections she shared with family and friends. Born April 3, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Laverne and Clement Thurm.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Bernard "Bernie" Godi.

She is survived by a son: Frank Rae Thurman of Arnold; a brother Ken (Tina) Thurm of Orange, Calif.; a brother: Michael Thurm of California; her nieces and nephews; and many friends.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Judith Ann (Thurm) Fritz; and her brother-in-law: William A. "Bill" Fritz.

A celebration of life will be held from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Arnold VFW Hall, 2301 Church Road, in Arnold. Memorials may be made to Mended Hearts at themendedhearts.harnessgiving.org
