Parmley, Jacqueline

Jacqueline Sue "Jackie" Parmley, 75, of De Soto died May 10, 2025, at Evelyn’s Hospice House in Creve Coeur. Mrs. Parmley worked at the De Soto Shoe Factory and was a lab tech at the office of Dr. Nuckols. Born Feb. 18, 1950, in Oran, she was the daughter of the late Leona A. (Samson) and Walter W. Temme.

She is survived by her husband: James Parmley of De Soto; a son: James (Heather) Parmley II of De Soto; a daughter: Regina (Jason) Schwartz of Ste. Genevieve; five grandchildren: Abigail (Michael) Wittu, Aaron (Casey) Parmley, Brianna Matthews, Addison Schwartz and Sydney Parmley; and five great-grandchildren: Paisley, Leighton, Ada-Jean, Elijah and Edith.

Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Monday, May 19, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral procession is scheduled to form at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, at the funeral home and will arrive at 11 a.m. for a graveside service in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to Flucom Methodist Church, P.O. Box 623, De Soto, 63020, or Evelyn’s Hospice House, 1000 N. Mason Road, Creve Coeur, 63141. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
