Jacob T. Harju, 36, of House Springs died March 31, 2024, from a sudden cardiac event at his home. Mr. Harju will be remembered for his intelligence, sense of humor, sensitive side and love for his family and friends. He was a talented artist and musician who played various instruments, many of which he taught himself how to play. He loved to cook, play games and dote on his pets. He also enjoyed traveling and going on adventures. Born Feb. 9, 1988, in St. Louis, he was the son of Barbara Lively Harju and Douglas J. Harju of Imperial.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of eight years: Melissa (Gash) Harju of House Springs; a sibling: Adam (Samantha) Harju of House Springs; and many other family members and friends.
