Ilene A. Marler, 79, of Oakville died Feb. 10, 2025. Born Sept. 9, 1945, in Qulin, Mrs. Marler was the daughter of the late Vivian (Christie) and Willard Pleasant.
She is survived by her husband: Dennis Marler of Oakville; a child: Michael Marler of Arnold; five grandchildren: Austin Marler of Arnold, Andrew Marler of Arnold, Adam Marler of Cape Girardeau, Rachael Garris of Arnold and Kolby Garris of Arnold; two siblings: Donna Allen of Mountain View and Maxine Minyard of Marco Island, Fla.; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Judy Truelove, Bob Pleasant, Zindel Pleasant, Peggy King, Patsy Moore and Clyde Pleasant.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
