Hilda Snyder, 102, of Arnold died Aug. 15, 2025. Mrs. Snyder was an elementary school teacher. She, along with her husband, was a curator at Saxon Lutheran Memorial for 10 years. She was active in LWML, choir, played the piano and other activities. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Arnold. She was born Nov. 19, 1922.
She is preceded in death by her husband: Victor Snyder.
She is survived by five children: David (Judy) Snyder, Darlene Hoffmaster, Daniel (Mary Anne) Snyder, Deanna (Thomas) Sorrell and Douglas (Cathy) Snyder; 11 grandchildren: Tammy (Johnathan) Neeley, David (Selena) Snyder, Angela (John) Horgan, Michael Snyder, Mark (Cathy) Snyder, Stephanie Ross, Timothy Snyder, Darin Sorrell, Korisa (Andrew) Carbone, Valerie (Luke) Shoup and Jonathan (Kristin) Snyder; 29 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a memorial service at 4:30 pm. Friday, Aug. 22, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
