Henry Ford, 79, of Bonne Terre died March 15, 2024, at his home. Mr. Ford was of Baptist faith and a member of the Auto Workers Union. He retired from the Ford Motor Company after 36 years of employment. He enjoyed riding Harleys, restoring cars and motorcycles, as well as repairing all kinds of things. Born March 22, 1944, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lilla Mae (Adams) and Henry F. Ford Sr.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Doris Ford.
He is survived by his wife: Paulette “Penny” Ford; three children, Henry F. Ford III, Terri (Roland) Schulte and Trudi Ford; Penny’s four children: William Laughlin, Christine Kurt, Daniel Laughlin and Timothy Laughlin; two grandchildren: Crystal and Trevor; two sisters: Sherry Leigh DeShong and Bobbie Gayle Gould; and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 1 p.m., Monday, March 25, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, 1116 N. Desloge Dr., in Desloge. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home.
